Bankfield House is an independent, privately owned Care Home situated in a quiet corner of Woodley in the tranquility of its own attractive landscaped gardens consisting of a pond, barbeque and pergolas.

About the Team

We know that the leadership of our care home is critical to all its operations, aiming for a management approach which creates an open, positive and inclusive atmosphere. Bankfield Care Home work to accounting and financial procedures which safeguard residents’ interests, offering them an appropriate assistance in the management of their own personal finances too. We supervise all staff and voluntary workers regularly and carefully, ensuring that the health, safety and welfare of residents and staff are promoted and protected.

Landscaped Gardens

When the sun is shining, our Activity Coordinator arranges for many activities to be enjoyed in our garden, including gardening. Residents can help to plant herbs in the herb garden, maintain the various plants and flowers throughout, as well as refill the bird feeders. There is always something to do to help. We encourage our residents to join in with outdoor activities to gain great health and social benefits.

Our Current Accommodation

The Home accommodates 30 Residents requiring High Dependency Residential Care in 24 single and 3 twin rooms (8 shower en-suite facilities and 7 en-suite toilet, 2 bathrooms and 1 shower room) situated on the ground and first floor, serviced by a passenger lift. The Home offers dedicated care for Permanent/Short term/Respite stay, Day Care (tailored to your needs) providing each individual Resident with security, dignity and peace of mind in a homely, comfortable and happy family environment. There are three lounges, a large conservatory and two dining rooms.
